HOW FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGY WORKS
The small fuel cell inside EVOKE ENERGY CELL gets energy from the refill unit, which holds a methanol cartridge. Once the methanol meets the air inside the fuel cell, electrical energy is produced to power the hearing aid. The by-product from this reaction is vaporized water and negligible amounts of carbon dioxide.

With a portable refill unit, EVOKE ENERGY CELL is effortless to re-energize. You can do it anytime, anywhere. Simply place the hearing aid into the refill well and wait 20 seconds. In that time, the refill unit will extract any remaining methanol and supply the fuel cell with new methanol. This fuel cell technology gives a 24-hour run-time, so users won’t miss out on anything.
